Mid-level Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of investment adviser regulatory experience

San Francisco office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level associate attorney with 4-6 years of investment adviser regulatory experience. The candidate will be expected to provide regulatory, compliance, and operational counseling to the clients, focusing primarily on private fund managers. Will also assist in responding to regulatory exams, audits, and annual compliance reviews and risk assessments; work with clients and colleagues on matters related to the formation, offering, and operations of private funds; and work with other colleagues within the Asset Management group to provide legal assistance and support regarding strategic regulatory issues and advisement on legislative matters. Should have 4+ years of legal experience working at a law firm or in-house. Strong experience in investment adviser regulatory areas is preferred. Experience in other regulatory areas, including broker-dealer, commodity, securities/World Sky, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering, would be a plus. Should also possess excellent analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work independently within a team culture. A J.D. degree from an accredited law school is required.
