Associate Attorney

Buckhannon office of our client seeks an associate attorney with some experience. The candidate will prepare pleadings and approve pleadings drafted by support staff. Make written discovery and depositions. Make court appearances. Do legal research and writing. Do client communications. Settle negotiations and appearing at mediation. Manage case load and move cases through the litigation process. Must be WV and/or OH Bar certified.

The candidate must be good with timekeeping/practice management software, e-mail, word processing, and the internet. Must have a strong desire to help clients through tough times and want to help them get into a better position. Must have strong negotiation skills, the ability to think on your feet, and feel comfortable in a courtroom.
