Associate Attorney

Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience in different aspects of litigation, such as discovery, pleadings, motion practice, and trial preparation. The candidate will assist in legal research and writing for lawsuits pending in State and Federal courts. Will meet trial deadlines, make court appearances, and manage existing cases being handled by the firm, from developing strategy to handling discovery, engaging in motion practice, trial preparation, and trial along with the firms Partners. 1800 billable hours per year, recorded promptly. Experience in both State and Federal courts is preferred.

The candidate should have J.D. from an accredited law school. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Adept at conducting research and proficiency with standard legal software, drafting motions and pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery, and preparing cases for trial is required.
