San Diego office of our client seeks associate attorney with preferably 2 years of experience working in foreclosure/bankruptcy. The candidate represents mortgage servicers, banks, and secured creditors in pre-litigation issues, Trustee Sales, bankruptcy, evictions, excess proceeds, and litigation matters. Collaborates with team member on internal case processing. Efficient management of multiple pre-litigation issues, Trustee Sales, bankruptcy, evictions, excess proceeds, and other litigation matters. Timely preparation of high-quality correspondence, emails, Trustee sales documents, pleadings, motions, discovery, disclosure, and appellate briefs. Provides excellent customer service to clients. Maintains a high level of ethical standards concerning caseload. Attend court hearings, mediations, trials, and oral arguments as required. Initial intake and preparation of strategic analysis of new cases. Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Managing Attorney. Research applicable to assigned cases. Accurate recording of billable work performed. Commitment to continued education/learning by attending CLEs. Ability to comprehend complex matters, identify and articulate core issues, and understand applicable legal principles. Perform other duties as assigned. Thorough knowledge of the legal procedures and current developments essential. Working knowledge of computers, along with the ability to maintain, update and modify documents needed. Must possess relevant technology competencies such as Westlaw and time-billing software. California State Bar license in good standing. Should possess experience in title, resolution, and litigation. Must possess relevant technology competencies such as Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and time-billing software.

The candidate should have excellent written communication skills with a strong work ethic and heavy attention to detail. Should demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills. Must possess a keen eye for detail, coupled with exceptional research and proofreading abilities. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team essential. Must have a high degree of motivation and integrity as it relates to work-product. Should have ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Proven time-management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize issues and tasks needed. Effective written and oral communication skills essential. Requires a Juris Doctorate degree.
