Corporate Finance and Securities Attorney

Toronto office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a corporate finance and securities attorney with 2+ years of client-facing legal experience as a transactional securities lawyer in a top-tier corporate firm. The candidate will draft and file various routine and novel securities offering documents and related materials. Will update, process, and file securities offering documents using automated precedents. Review and finalize related closing documents. Provide ancillary legal advisory services to the client. Develop and maintain reference materials, precedents, data analytics, and other resources and supporting the internal team. Experience with legal document technology applications is an asset. Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

The candidate must have excellent academic credentials with an LL.B., J.D. degree, or equivalent. Must have strong technical legal, analytical, and drafting skills combined with problem-solving skills and rigorous attention to detail. Should have excellent organizational skills and file management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative multi-branched team environment towards a common purpose. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and judgement are needed.
