Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and provide advice on legal transactions. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury and civil litigation. Duties

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Draft substantive pleadings and perform appellate research.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other attorneys.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to law practice.

Requirements

  • Licensed in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 5 years of personal injury and civil litigation experience.
  • Experience as a prosecutor or in medical malpractice preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills

  • Excellent research skills, specifically utilizing Westlaw.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
