Hackensack office of our client seeks tax litigation attorney with preferably 5 years of experience. The candidate will be assisting firm attorneys with litigation before the United States Tax Court and District Courts. Will be reviewing returns and preparing computations as requested by the firm attorneys and staff in pending tax litigation. Drafting scholarly articles on Tax Controversy topics for publication in the firm Tax Controversy Journal and assisting with all aspects of the firm seminar series preparing non-attorneys to sit for the US Tax Court Admission Examination for non-attorneys. Tax Research, Tax Preparation, and Tax Controversy experience are essential. An advanced degree in tax law (LL.M. or MST) is preferred. Should have interest in tax and tax litigation.

The candidate must have strong organizational, legal research and writing and oral communication skills.
