Miami office of our client seeks an associate attorney with 1 year of associate experience, including preparing and filing motions, managing all deadlines, attending and handling simple hearings, and generally handling a case from start to finish. The candidate should have successfully completion of the Florida Bar exam and have an active Florida Bar license. Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (impeccable grammar in English and decent grammar in Spanish is a must). Proficient with M.S. Office Suite is required. Experience in handling probate and guardianship matters, including preparing and filing motions, managing all deadlines, marshaling assets, dealing with creditors, and generally handling a case from start to finish, is a huge plus. Must be proficient with online docketing systems, as well as the Florida E-Filing Portal and Court Map. Proficient with a Document Management System is required.

The candidate must maintain high standards. Should be conscientious and steady. Comprehensive problem solver; analytical and precise is required. A self-starter with superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments within a fast-paced environment is needed. Must be patient and empathetic. Process and quality oriented (must have great attention to detail) is required. Must be self-disciplined. Should be a team player, understanding, and sincere. The ability to problem solve and work with a variety of personalities and work styles are required. Should have completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed. Must be able to multitask effectively.
