Sacramento office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks associate attorney with experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal representation to the diverse clientele under the supervision and guidance of experienced attorneys, ensuring the efficient operation of the practice, and delivering exceptional service. Will conduct thorough and accurate legal research using various databases and resources to support case preparation and strategy development. Analyze legal documents, statutes, regulations, and case law to identify relevant information and summarize findings for supervising attorneys. Prepare memoranda, briefs, and reports to communicate research findings and legal analyses to supervising attorneys and clients. Draft, review, and edit various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, affidavits, contracts, and correspondence under the supervision of experienced attorneys. Assist with document production and manage electronic discovery processes, adhering to established protocols and deadlines. Assist supervising attorneys in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities. Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials, providing legal representation and support as needed. Collaborate with supervising attorneys on case strategy and legal arguments. Serve as a liaison between supervising attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, ensuring timely and professional communication. Conduct client interviews and assist with case intake, gathering relevant information and documentation. Continuously enhance legal knowledge and skills by attending relevant conferences, and seminars and continuing legal education programs. Participate in firm-wide initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the practice. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and California state court rules, procedures, and filing requirements is essential. Proficiency in legal research tools, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) needed. Should have admission to the California State Bar and be in good standing.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines essential. Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner needed. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with supervising attorneys, staff, clients, and other professionals are essential.
