Ann Arbor office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm is actively seeking associates to join our Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group. The candidate will serve as a partner and leader of the Employee Benefits-Executive Compensation Practice Group. Must have 15 years of legal experience, most of which has been dedicated to EB/EC. Must have extensive experience with tax qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. In particular, experience with: Plan design and management, 409A, mergers and acquisitions, DOL and IRS voluntary correction programs, IRS audits, Plan termination. Admission to the Michigan Bar is essential. Some portable business are strongly preferred.

The candidate should have outstanding professional and academic credentials.

This established large firm based in Detroit with offices in several cities in Michigan serves clients in matters that include litigation, labor & employment, banking, intellectual property, tax, and environmental law. Its clients range from corporations, large and small, governmental entities, and individuals with substantial business and charitable interests. The firms environment is collegial, and lawyers seem to enjoy practicing law as well as each others company. Compensation at the firm is average.
