Wilmington office of our client, a Chambers ranked law firm, is actively seeking associates to join our Intellectual Property Group. The candidate should have Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetics or Microbiology. Must preferably have 5+ years of patent prosecution experience, including preparation and prosecution of patent applications, client counseling, opinion development and due diligence activities. Practical experience and an in-depth knowledge of a Biological Science are required. Should have 4 years of research experience in one or more of molecular biology, genetics, cell biology and microbiology. Must have 5+ years of previous Intellectual Property law experience. Active USPTO Registration is required. Must be in good standing in the Delaware Bar.

The candidate should have superior academic record, excellent written and communication skills, strong attention to detail and strong analytical abilities. Must be highly motivated and results-oriented. Superior technical, verbal and written communication skills are needed. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities are essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and resolve conflicting workload assignments, and adapt to changing conditions are needed.
