Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a communications associate attorney with 4 years of experience. The candidate will be drafting pleadings and advocating at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and state public utility commissions. Will be advising clients on federal Universal Service Fund programs and contributions, including representation in audits, investigations, and enforcement. Developing products with the consideration of regulatory classification and associated opportunities, risks, and burdens. Creating consumer-facing agreements and policies, including terms and conditions, privacy policies, transparency statements, and accessibility policies. Preparing and prosecuting applications before the FCC, USAC, and state public utility commissions. Negotiating and drafting communications, IoT, and technology contracts. Seeking authorization for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions from state public utility commissions, the FCC, and other Executive Branch agencies; and litigation and dispute resolution involving communications-related matters. Should have experience in communications and consumer protection matters, including regulatory proceedings before the FCC, USAC, state commissions, and state attorneys general. Must have a keen interest in communications and technology issues and work well independently or as part of a team, depending on the nature of the matter. Must be a member of the DC Bar or eligible to be admitted to the DC Bar. Must have a background in communications and technology law and policy.

The candidate should have excellent academic credentials with strong writing, analytical, and communications skills.
