Duties:

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes
  • Conduct depositions, interviews, and represent clients in court hearings
  • Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of case developments
  • Stay informed on legal trends and best practices in commercial litigation

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission
  • 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience, with substantial experience in state and federal courts
  • Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active or eligible North Carolina Bar membership
