Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks international trade and investment controls lawyer with significant experience in advising clients on the regulation of U.S. trade, with a focus on export controls including classification, licensing, and compliance regimes, and economic sanctions. The candidate will be advising clients on the application of trade regulations including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC regulations to their cross-border business operations. Will be assisting clients in developing compliance programs and advising with respect to trade issues in pre-and post-acquisition due diligence, advising on voluntary disclosures related to trade compliance and applying and obtaining licenses, permission, and authorizations for the conduct of international trade.

This Washington, DC, office of a well-known New England firm has a solid practice, especially in the intellectual property area, although it offers seasoned expertise in all other practice areas as well. The Washington DC office has become especially adept at handling federal high- technology regulatory litigation compensation and benefits are excellent and the friendly working environment generates much praise for resident attorneys.
