Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ is currently seeking litigation associates to join its growing team. This full-time opportunity offers attorneys the ability to gain broad experience across a variety of litigation matters, including general liability and professional liability. The firm fosters a collaborative environment and provides structured mentorship to help attorneys refine their courtroom skills and develop professionally. Ideal candidates will be proactive, organized, and comfortable handling matters from inception through resolution.

Duties:

• Manage litigation cases from pre-suit investigation through expert discovery

• Handle court appearances, depositions, and case management conferences

• Prepare legal pleadings, motions, memoranda, affidavits, and other court documents

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Conduct complex legal research and analysis

• Summarize depositions, discovery responses, and case materials

• Develop and implement case strategies in consultation with senior attorneys

• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to resolve disputes

• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments and legal advice

Requirements:

• Active Bar membership in the State of New Jersey

• Prior litigation experience strongly preferred, especially in general or professional liability

• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings and take a lead role in depositions and motion practice

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar is required

Skills:

• Advanced legal research and analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
