Senior Estate and Trust Attorney

Rockville office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks senior estate and trust attorney with 5+ years of experience. The candidate will work as part of a team on estate planning and probate matters. Will have a heavy focus on probate and trust administration. Draft estate planning documents. Administer probate estates in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and/or Virginia. Prepare and review fiduciary accountings. Prepare and review estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns. Prepare and review settlement agreements. Oversee the daily workflow of administrative staff. Delegate tasks to administrative staff in an effective manner. Should have excellent research and writing skills, knowledge of estate, trust, and individual taxation, and demonstrated experience working with complex, high-net-worth clients, as well as estates and trusts. Should have a solid background in estate and trust administration. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, WordPerfect, or related software. Must have a Bar license in MD. A Bar license in D.C. or VA is a plus.
