Santa Monica office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level class actions and mass torts associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will defend global companies with complex, cutting-edge legal issues in all aspects of case development, including being part of high-stakes trial teams and handling bet-the-company class and mass actions. Must have experience in the following areas: Complex litigation experience within a big law firm setting and/or clerkship experience (circuit court clerk experience a plus); Experience handling motions, depositions, and assisting in all stages of discovery, class certification, appellate and trial work.

The candidate should have highly developed research and writing skills. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills and the ability to manage client engagements. Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility essential.

The Southern California office opened seven years ago. Thirteen qualified attorneys round out their legal practice. Areas of practice served are diverse. A number of their practice disciplines consist of mergers-acquisitions, securities, leasing, mortgage work, joint ventures, corporate, and real estate financing. Attorneys support several non-profit organizations namely the Inner City Law Center, Public Counsel as well as the Western Law Center for Disability Rights and Women at Risk.
