Junior Patent Agent

Alexandria office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a junior patent agent with some patent experience. The candidate will be conducting patentability and freedom to operate searches. Will be drafting patent applications. Drafting Responses to Office Actions and other related patent prosecution. Preparing replies to client questions regarding patent law. Other duties as assigned. Should have Bachelors degree or greater in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field. Background in chemical or pharmaceuticals is required.

The candidate should have a proven track record of attention to detail, follow-through, and timely communication with others. Must have excellent communication skills: verbal, written, listening to complete required communication, internally and externally.
