Junior Patent Agent

Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks junior patent agent with 2-4 years of experience with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution and counseling related to software technologies, particularly in the medical or life sciences context. The ideal candidate must be experienced in building strategic IP portfolios for innovative companies that value intellectual property. Should have a technical background in computer science, data science, computer engineering, or equivalent discipline, and experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications related to digital health, medical devices, or life sciences. Prior firm experience is required.

The candidate must have: a record of learning new technologies, a creative and strategic approach to IP counseling, a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service, an excellent academic record, and superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
