Omaha office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a data privacy and security attorney with 1-4 years of experience in privacy and data protection. The candidate will represent companies in industries including marketing, technology, SaaS, manufacturing, and healthcare. Will have access to the resources of a large firm with the opportunity to provide customized and multidimensional guidance to the clients most complex and pressing data protection needs. Working on corporate transactions relating to privacy and security-related due diligence and advising. Drafting and revising privacy notices, terms of service, incident response plans, information security policies, and other data protection policies. Drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, cross-border transfer agreements, and other types of agreements involving data sharing. Assisting with data breach preparation, risk mitigation, and coordination. Must have a strong interest in privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity laws, legislation, and the digital landscape, who wants to work on projects such as: Assisting companies with compliance issues related to CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, VCDPA, CPA, the FTC Act, and other global privacy laws and regulations (may include sector-specific experience in financial services, education, telecom, biometrics, or digital advertising). Knowledge of GLBA, COPPA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM is beneficial. Must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Nebraska.

The candidate should have excellent academic and professional credentials. Must have the ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form. Should have the ability to adapt to a fascinating and changing area of the law. Strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility needed. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a highly-functioning team is essential.
