Duties

• Handle various commercial and business litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, and mediation.
• Manage and review discovery documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to case strategy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case developments.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on complex litigation cases.
• Participate in case strategy development and client consultations.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Utah Bar, or willingness to take the Utah State Bar exam promptly.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently under pressure.
• Familiarity with local and federal court rules and procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Utah Bar license (or eligibility and intent to obtain).
