Saint Petersburg office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior employee benefits (executive compensation) associate attorney with 7 years of knowledge of/experience in executive compensation and employee benefits, specifically in areas of executive compensation, design, and implementation of equity-based compensation, nonqualified deferred compensation; Section 409A, Section 280G, securities, executive employment agreements, executive severance agreements and change in control agreements, and employee benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions/downsizing. The candidate should preferably have experience with profits interests, partnership tax, global equity compensation, and private equity. Candidates with some or a combination of experience in these areas are encouraged to apply. Should preferably have prior executive compensation experience. Admission to practice law in one of the following jurisdictions is mandatory: Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, or Washington, DC is mandatory.

The candidate should have the highest level of legal and practical problem-solving skills, strong oral presentation, and client relations acumen. Must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills, especially in distilling complex matters into easy-to-understand, actionable advice. Juris Doctorate degree required.
