Delray Beach office of our client seeks supervising attorney with 8+ years of litigation/courtroom experience (foreclosure experience a plus). The candidate will be responsible for managing the attorneys and employees of the Litigation Department. Will be responsible for the development, forecasting and managing of the department P&L. Manage the litigation process on behalf of the clients, and to actively manage and develop existing and potential business. Attend mediations, trials, and hearings, and other duties as assigned. Write articles and make presentations to clients, trade associations. Participate in marketing initiatives / business development. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases. Assist with other duties and special projects as needed. Should be Member of the state Bar while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements. Must be proficient in performing legal research and writing. Must be proficient in taking and defending depositions. Must be proficient in drafting pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, as well as correspondence, memoranda, and opinion letters. Proficiency with Fastcase or Westlaw is essential. Must be well-versed in the rules of evidence, introducing evidence, and civil procedure in both state and federal court. Must be proficient in software tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.

The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree with a JD degree from an accredited law school. Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills. Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Should identify and solve issues in a timely manner. Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary. Must be extremely organized and be able to multi-task. Have conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance. Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action. Must be analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking. Should develop professional relationships and builds rapport with others.
