A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience in handling a diverse range of commercial real estate matters, including real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. PA Bar admission is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Duties:

  • Provide legal guidance and representation to clients in various aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and real estate finance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, contracts, agreements, and leases to ensure legal compliance and alignment with client objectives.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, title examinations, and property assessments to identify and resolve potential legal issues.
  • Effectively negotiate and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders involved in real estate transactions.
  • Assist in real estate finance matters, such as loan transactions, refinancing, and restructuring activities.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in real estate laws, regulations, and market trends to provide clients with current legal advice and strategies.
  • Represent clients' interests by attending meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Active admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is mandatory.
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Current membership in the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.

  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting legal documents.
