Probate Attorney

San Francisco office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a probate attorney with 6-16 years of experience as a licensed attorney. The candidate will be meeting with clients, drafting pleadings, administering depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, conducting research, writing motions, making court appearances, arguing motions, participating in trials, interviewing witnesses, drafting agreements, negotiating settlements, attending mediations, and arbitrations, handling Probate Litigation cases and other activities requested by the partners. Must have 5 years of probate, wills, trust, and estate litigation experience. Courtroom experience is preferred. Must be a licensed California attorney.

The candidate must have excellent academic credentials. A strong work ethic and reliability are a must. Must have exemplary client service skills with prompt response levels at all times. Must have a desire to make court appearances, argue motions, and participate in hearings. Must be detail-oriented with strong drafting and negotiating skills and the ability to communicate legal subject matter to non-attorneys. Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, business judgment, and strategic legal thinking. Must have the ability to manage workflow independently to meet firm deadlines while achieving business and risk management objectives. Must have knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure.
