Associate Attorney needed for Hackensack office

Hackensack office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks associate attorney with experience. The candidate will assist in providing legal counsel to the clients. Will work closely with the senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients. Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings. Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys. Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals. Organize and maintain files to ensure file accuracy. Collaborate with clients, senior attorneys, and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently. Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of a senior attorney. Must be a Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association). Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills are required in order to work with clients, staff members, and senior attorneys. Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school.
