Silver Spring office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior business immigration attorney with 7+ years of experience. The candidate will be leading a team of associate attorneys and paralegals of varying experience levels. Maintaining ownership and ultimate responsibility for the team's full docket of 200-300 cases. Managing and supervising attorney and paralegal work from start to finish. Ensuring that attorneys and paralegals draft, organize, and file immigration documentation in a thorough and timely manner. Carefully and promptly reviewing attorney and paralegal work products. Providing paralegals and attorneys constructive feedback on work products to promote employee development and team growth. Participating in the hiring and evaluation process. Devoting energy and resources to developing and training attorneys and paralegals. Utilizing high-level immigration law knowledge and precise attention to detail to ensure the team produces error-free legal work. Researching and analyzing the law on complex immigration issues. Synthesizing legal research and analysis into written memoranda or briefs, and performing casework as assigned. Analyzing and summarizing complex legal documents. Identifying potential immigration issues and developing strategies to address them. Conducting/ participating in client meetings and calls. Handling client relations issues as needed. Serving as an account manager with major corporate clients. Making personal and firm-wide marketing efforts a priority. Must have experience in business immigration law (i.e. H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, J-1, PERM) and must be licensed to practice law. Foreign language skills are a plus.

The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, superior writing ability, and precise attention to detail. Be creative, works well with others, have a can-do attitude, ask questions, and are intellectually curious. Have the ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making, take ownership of the team's docket, and operate at a senior level. Must have a J.D. degree. Have a high-level understanding of immigration law. Pay precise attention to detail. Have the ability to review attorney and paralegal work products carefully and promptly. Have the ability to train and engage associate attorney and paralegal team. Have excellent organizational, writing, and other communication skills. Have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Have the ability to work well with clients and others. Have the ability to use forms databases and other computer programs.
