Products Liability and Class Actions Litigation Associate

Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks products liability and class actions litigation associate with 2-4 years of complex litigation experience. The candidate's work will involve the defense of product liability and class action cases at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court, locally and nationwide. Responsibilities will include drafting pleadings, drafting discovery requests and responses, document review and analysis, legal research, and writing briefs. Other duties will include factual investigation, assisting with deposition preparation, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and assisting with trials. Familiarity with products liability law and defense of consumer fraud litigation, including consumer class actions, is strongly preferred.

Excellent written and oral advocacy skills are required. Occasional travel is needed. A successful applicant will have excellent computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office, Lexis, Relativity and court filing systems, including ECF.
