Tech Transactions (Biotech) Associate Attorney

Palo Alto office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks tech transactions (biotech) associate attorney with 4-6 years of transactional and licensing experience, focused on representing life science companies. The candidate will be part of a working group and firm culture that prioritizes mentoring, training, and professional development and values diverse perspectives, collaboration, and high performance. Will immediately have opportunities to interact with some of the most-innovative and exciting life sciences companies, be exposed to a range of dynamic transactions and work closely with other energetic attorneys throughout our national and international offices. Develop a career on the cutting edge of the legal and technology sectors. Must have interest in the dynamic world of life sciences, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, digital health, medical devices, diagnostics, and discovery tools. A biological science, chemistry, engineering, pharmacy and/or business background or relevant in-house legal experience, will be considered favorably. Experience should include all or some of the following: complex partnering and licensing arrangements; agreements with academic or research institutions; research and development agreements; manufacturing, supply, and distribution agreements; clinical trial arrangements; material transfer and non-disclosure agreements; and mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-outs and joint venture transactions for companies in the life sciences sectors. Must be comfortable with significant client interaction, including counseling clients on day-to-day matters and a desire to grow into a role leading the structure and negotiation of complex strategic transactions for clients.

The candidate should have superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
