Estate Planning Attorney

Riverhead office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks estate planning attorney with 3-5 years law firm estate administration or planning experience. The candidate will provide legal counsel on estate and gift tax, Medicaid planning, and business succession. Will coordinate and communicate with accountants and financial advisors. Preparation and review of probate and administration documents. Preparation and review of Gift and Estate Tax Returns. Preparation and review of Wills, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts. Review of deeds and accompanying transfer documents. Supervision of estate planning document execution. Review of Medicaid applications for submission. Must have knowledge of Medicaid gift and note planning. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required. Proficiency in Adobe professional helpful. Working knowledge of One Source/Thompson Reuters Fiduciary Accounting and Estate Tax software helpful.

The candidate must be personable and maintain significant client communication. Must have proven success working in a high volume environment. Should have ability to produce quality work efficiently and accurately. Must have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistent follow-through. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills essential. Must be empathetic and compassionate toward our clients in difficult times.
