Tinton Falls office of an AmLaw firm seeks employment litigation associate attorney with 2-4 years of experience. The candidate will serve in the defense of agency charges of discrimination, lawsuits involving a range of employment related claims and daily advice and counsel to clients regarding various employment and labor law issues. Will handle defense of agency charges of discrimination, lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and advice and counseling involving similar issues. Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, wage-hour, contract, employment tort, and restrictive covenant cases. Advise and train employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination laws. Effectively and persuasively write briefs and motions for the benefit of the clients. Cultivate productive and effective relationships with clients. Argue decisively at court hearings. Conduct fact gathering and advantageous depositions. Defend properly prepared client representatives at deposition. Should preferably have experience in employment defense litigation. Should have New Jersey Bar Admission. Must have understanding of current state and federal court and agency procedures.

The candidate must have JD degree from an accredited law school. Outstanding academic credentials are essential. Should have excellent academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills and strong time management and project management skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment are essential. Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment is needed.
