Associate Attorney

Dallas office of our client seeks an associate attorney to handle duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervising attorney of the respective state. The candidate will provide knowledge and experience in the oversight and management of high-volume statewide foreclosure matters. Will ensure that all appropriate actions are taken to expedite the firm's files. Outline the appropriate actions to be taken and ensure that said steps are implemented and completed, as well as oversee any actions of paralegals that are assigned to assist the attorney or the contested litigation department. Act as a liaison between the firm and its clients, vendors, outside counsel, courts, trustees, and other foreclosure personnel. Manage all files in accordance with applicable foreclosure rules (Federal and local) and firm-established timelines, rules, goals, and objectives. Become familiar with and work within the firm's case management system to create, manage and review daily and weekly reports for exceptions and discrepancies. Review and execute various pleadings and correspondence as well as ensure that client and firm management systems are accurately updated and maintained. Outline, prepare and present pleadings and other court and legal documents, as well as argue the merits of assigned cases at hearings, conferences, mediations, or trials, as appropriate.

The candidate must have excellent organizational, communication, and listening skills. The ability to handle difficult/delicate issues with diplomacy and tact is required. Should maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. The ability to handle multiple priorities, take initiative, and adapt to change is required.
