Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in commercial real estate equity transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Location:

Duties:

  • Advise clients on commercial real estate equity transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including partnership agreements, acquisition agreements, and financing agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence and manage complex real estate transactions from inception through closing.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of deals.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance and counsel to clients regarding real estate investments and risk management.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure timely delivery of legal services.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in real estate equity transactions, particularly in joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex real estate agreements.
  • Excellent understanding of real estate transactions and finance structures.
  • Proven track record of managing transactions and working with clients in the real estate sector.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar (New York preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage client relationships.
