Family Law Associate Attorney

Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a family law associate attorney with 3 years of experience as an attorney within Family Law. The candidate will supervise and direct mediation sessions and offer effective legal advice. Will oversee and manage the legal issues that transpire between people that are members of the same family. Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing court documents such as pleadings or witness statements. Manage a full caseload of family law cases of varying degrees of complexity. Opening new files, creating litigation plans, conducting discovery, making court appearances, and trying cases while maintaining exceptional client interaction. Must be capable of managing clients and providing professional service to clientele. Must have a background or strong desire to enter family law; divorce, paternity, custody disputes, child support enforcement, and adoptions. Uphold a steady schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences. Able to propound and respond to discovery, including Declarations of Disclosure, Requests for Production, Form Interrogatories, Special Interrogatories, Requests for Admission, Subpoenas, and Depositions. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred. Experience with Case Management Software is required. Must be an Active member of the CA State Bar and local Bar Associations. Decision-making, public speaking, and supervisory experience are required. Should have advanced proficiency in computer skills, reviewing reports, and budgets.

The candidate should have a four-year bachelor's degree, along with a three-year law degree from an accredited law school.
