A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation litigation, with strong drafting, research, and writing skills. Responsibilities include drafting applications and motions, assisting senior attorneys with complex cases, attending hearings and trials, and interacting with clients. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Duties:

  • Draft applications, motions, and other court-related documents.
  • Assist and support senior attorneys and partners in handling complex Workers' Compensation cases.
  • Attend and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Interact with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
  • Conduct legal research and draft detailed and accurate legal documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience with a Workers' Compensation litigation law firm.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to speak Spanish fluently is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member of the State Bar in good standing.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including motions and applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Ability to attend and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
