Job Title: Family Law Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm located in Flower Mound, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented and litigation-ready Associate Attorney with a focus on family law. This position offers the opportunity to play a central role in representing clients across a broad range of domestic matters. Duties:

  • Represent clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, modifications, enforcement actions, and CPS-related issues

  • Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements

  • Participate in court hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Conduct legal research and contribute to the development of the case strategy

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, court officials, and opposing counsel

  • Ensure consistent adherence to professional and ethical standards

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

  • At least 2 years of experience handling family law cases within Texas

  • Experience with litigation, including trials and depositions, is preferred

  • Familiarity with legal procedures in Denton or Collin Counties is a plus

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple client matters simultaneously

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas (mandatory)

Skills:

  • Excellent legal writing and courtroom communication skills

  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

  • Capacity to handle sensitive client matters with discretion and professionalism
