Corporate Associate Attorney (Technology/Venture Capital)

Cambridge office of our client seeks corporate associate attorney (technology/ venture capital) with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will take an active role on core transatlantic venture capital work (NVCA, BVCA, SAFE), as well as supporting the wider corporate team within the firm. Will act for a range of national and international clients, from entrepreneurs embarking on their first company and scientists spinning out innovative research ideas from universities, to seasoned and serial founders and investors in the transatlantic/international venture capital community and mature companies. Must be Admitted to and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar. Must have broad training in a well-regarded Corporate department. Familiarity with technology essential. Must have keen interest in Business Development and helping to maintain and grow client relationships.

The candidate should have strong academic qualifications; JD degree. Excellent technical ability and solid drafting skills essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate and handle client contact (both internal and external) from the outset needed. Effective team player - able to work effectively in an established, close-knit team essential. Must have an enthusiastic and engaged attitude with excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style. Should have a willingness to take responsibility and ability to form strong working relationships across all areas of the practice.
