M&A Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is looking to hire a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with 3-5 years of experience to work on complex transactions in the technology and life sciences sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in public and private company mergers and acquisitions, along with other strategic transactions. The position requires expertise in drafting transaction agreements, managing due diligence, and coordinating with clients and legal teams to ensure successful execution of deals.

Location:

Duties:

• Serve as a key associate on mergers and acquisitions transactions
• Draft and review definitive transaction agreements
• Oversee due diligence processes and disclosure letters
• Coordinate with subject matter experts throughout transactions
• Manage client relationships and provide legal support during transactions
• Ensure all aspects of strategic transactions are handled efficiently

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions or strategic transactions
• Experience as an associate on M&A transactions, including drafting agreements and managing deal processes
• Strong client management skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of the chosen office location (New York, California, or Washington) or eligibility for admission
