Collections Associate Attorney

Columbia office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks collections associate attorney with 2-8 years of experience. The candidate will review and evaluation of creditor claims, with the ability to ascertain risk. Will review claims promptly when received. Prepare and draft complaints for filing in state courts. Moving caseload efficiently, working with staff to move files efficiently and effectively. Drafting motions for judgment as well as various other motions. Negotiating and reviewing settlements. Post Judgment enforcement. Counsel clients on options and remedies. Should have a solid work ethic, experience with consumer collections, and superior attention to detail. Must have Admission to the State Bar in the following jurisdictions: MD, VA.

The candidate should have a Bachelors and Juris Doctor degrees. Must have the ability to manage a high file volume. Should have a high level of ability to perform research and efficiently and effectively communicate results both verbally and written, including publications.
