Corporate Finance Associate Attorney

Detroit office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a corporate finance associate attorney with 4-6 years of transactional experience. The candidate will work with a focus on financing transactions, with significant experience representing lenders and/or borrowers, in a wide variety of industries in connection with acquisition financings, recapitalization, and restructurings. Working knowledge of general corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and capitalization, corporate governance issues, shareholder agreements, customer agreements, and day-to-day operations, is a plus. Must be admitted to a Bar in a US jurisdiction. Admission to the MI Bar is preferred.

The candidate must have attention to detail, superior organizational skills, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and competing priorities with relative ease, and the ability to quickly learn substantive legal topics. Should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) and an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external clients at all levels.
