Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an employee benefits associate attorney preferably with 3-5 years of prior associate-level experience with strong employee benefits and executive compensation experience. The candidate will provide thorough factual and legal research and analysis. Will manage projects from commencement to closing. Competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys. Complete tasks efficiently. Experience in evaluating employee benefits and executive compensation matters in the context of corporate mergers and acquisitions is required. Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas.

The candidate must have a J.D. degree. Must be able to provide effective and reliable legal services to clients and supervising attorneys. The ability to assist clients in complying with federal and state laws governing qualified retirement, health, and welfare plans is required. The ability to draft employee benefit plan documents and correcting plan failures and other operational issues through the voluntary correction programs offered by the IRS and the Department of Labor is essential. The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is a must. Strong organization and matter management skills are required. Clear and effective drafting skills are a must. Exceptional project management skills are needed.
