Job Overview:

Duties:

• Structure and negotiate complex real estate transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures

• Draft and review a broad range of transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, financing instruments, leases, and related real estate contracts

• Provide strategic legal counsel on commercial leasing and development projects

• Conduct due diligence and risk assessment on real estate portfolios and investments

• Support clients in financing matters including secured lending, loan restructuring, and real estate-backed securities

• Collaborate across departments on multi-disciplinary matters involving corporate, tax, and environmental law aspects

• Assist with project management and client communication in all phases of real estate transactions

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of dedicated experience in real estate transactions

• Prior involvement in commercial acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, and finance arrangements

• Strong drafting and negotiating capabilities

• Demonstrated analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

• Effective communicator with experience advising both institutional and private clients

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for immediate admission)

Skills:

• Proficiency in structuring and executing real estate transactions

• Adept at legal research and drafting tailored documentation

• Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple time-sensitive matters

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented practice group

• Client-centric approach and commercial awareness
