A top-tier Texas law firm is seeking a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney for its San Antonio office. This role offers a base salary of $120,000, a 10% commission on all legal fees deposited, and a $15,000 first-year retention bonus. The position involves leading the litigation process for a docket of personal injury cases ranging from motor vehicle accidents to premises liability. This is a growth-oriented opportunity for motivated attorneys looking to advance quickly into senior litigation roles.

Location

Duties

  • Draft and file petitions and legal pleadings

  • Manage discovery, including written discovery and depositions

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Supervise a dedicated legal support team

  • Maintain an active docket of personal injury cases

  • Handle settlement negotiations and trial preparation

  • Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

  • Ensure timely movement of cases toward resolution

Requirements

  • Prior experience in litigation or personal injury law preferred

  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and lead litigation efforts

  • Ability to handle courtroom proceedings and deposition practice

  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and results

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing
