A distinguished law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Compliance Attorney with 19 years of legal experience. This role involves advising clients on corporate compliance programs, risk management, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing compliance strategies, conducting internal investigations, and providing guidance on corporate governance and regulatory requirements to minimize legal and business risks.

Duties

• Advise clients on corporate compliance, risk management, and governance matters
• Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures
• Conduct internal investigations into potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements at local, state, and federal levels
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate policies, agreements, and compliance documents
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting corporate compliance and provide updates to clients
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies as needed
• Provide training and support to corporate staff on compliance matters

Requirements

• 19 years of legal experience with a focus on corporate compliance
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state compliance regulations and corporate governance laws
• Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programs and policies
• Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage complex and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
