Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks in-house privacy attorney with 5+ years of contracts, negotiation or equivalent experience in a large law firm or corporation, negotiating privacy requirements under US privacy laws, HIPAA, GDPR and/or CCPA, and experience drafting technology, purchase, sale, software license, content license, outsourcing, professional service, real estate leases, general contractor and architectural agreements. The candidate will draft, edit and review business, vendor, client and service provider privacy terms and conditions in contracts for the firm. Will lead privacy contract negotiation processes and build strong collaborative relationships internally and externally to drive strong, time-sensitive results. Be responsible for advising the Data Processing Officer on interpreting privacy regulations. Must have an advanced knowledge of key laws, processes and industry practices applicable to business contracts and leases, and advanced knowledge of GDPR and/or CCPA. Must preferably have the following certifications: CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/A.
The candidate must have a JD degree.
