Communications Attorney

Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a communications attorney with 5 years of experience in Communications Law background (and, specifically, experience with TV and radio broadcast law). The candidate will advise commercial and noncommercial educational broadcasters, trade associations, American Indian Tribes, technology companies, and broadband and e-commerce providers on a wide array of matters, including licensing, spectrum auctions, rulemakings, program content, forfeitures, and consent decrees. Should preferably have experience working with non-profit entities. Must have a background in administrative law/federal regulatory agencies. Should have a License to practice law in any state. A partial book of business is preferred.

The candidate should preferably have a passion for the practice; build and maintain relationships with clients, staff, and industry professionals; possess the ability to manage multiple projects; and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work products. Strong public speaking and writing skills are required, along with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. Must have excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. A client-oriented approach to practice is required. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including with legal support staff, is needed. Should have demonstrated interest in giving back to the communities in which live and work.
