Associate Attorney

Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 2-5 years of legal experience working at a law firm, or in-house at an asset management firm. The candidate will work with SEC-registered advisers and funds on a wide array of matters including: compliance, fund formation, regulatory filings, ongoing SEC reporting, inquiries and examinations, and corporate governance matters. Must have proven abilities in: drafting disclosure and compliance documents; and advising on compliance and regulatory issues.

The candidate must have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school or equivalent. Should have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and client service skills, and the ability to function well in a high-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Corporate work is the driving force in this large firm although in recent years, IP has played an increasingly important role. Its Boston offices are spacious, modern, and beautifulone of the most satisfying and prestigious firms in which to work. We know of few firms that compete with this firm in terms of the quality and consistency of the work product. Although the hours can be substantial, the compensation is top of the line here, and associates are generally quite happy to be practicing at the top of their profession.
