Senior Real Estate And Finance Attorney

Farmington Hills office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior real estate and finance attorney with 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm. The candidate will negotiate real estate transaction terms and conditions, and facilitate the transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title companies. Will draw up and review purchase and property management agreements, contracts, title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, probate and trust documents, leases, and financing statements, as appropriate. Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff. Represent clients at real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and in real estate litigation. Complete thorough due diligence and inspect legal documents, title examination, and closing binder for legal risk, completion, and accuracy. Must be computer proficient. Should maintain a current law license in the state and be a member of the local Bar Association. Relevant knowledge of property management, land use, title insurance, business law, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation is required. 5 years of litigation experience and strong knowledge of land use, title insurance, and business law is required.

The candidate should preferably have exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills. Completion of accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree is required.
