Senior Civil Defense Litigation Attorney

Southfield office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior civil defense litigation attorney with 5+ years of significant litigation experience handling discovery, motion work, depositions, and court proceedings. The candidate will manage files through the litigation process. Represent clients in both negotiations and court proceedings, including mediations, trials, evidentiary hearings, and motions. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence. Handle all aspects of discovery and research legal issues. Have written and oral communication with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel. Must be admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and be in good standing.

The candidate must have solid academic credentials. Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills are needed. Strong research capabilities are required. Should have a strong work ethic.
