Houston office of our client seeks investment attorney with 7+ years of experience in advising state and corporate pension funds with respect to their investments. The candidate will work with the Institutional Investor Practice Group, including the Multi-disciplinary Institutional Investor Team. Must have experience representing lead or major institutional investors in their domestic and international investments involving comingled funds, co-investments, joint ventures, custom funds, separate accounts and direct principal transactions. Fund counsel with experience negotiating against investors with respect to these investments also will be considered. Familiarity with current market terms, as well as experience negotiating side letters, fund documents, and investment management agreements required. Mergers and acquisitions experience is a plus. The Candidate must be admitted to DC Bar, or in the Texas state.
